Whats more southern than butter and pecans? These have turned into my new favorite cookie for the holidays and I know you're going to love them! They are so easy to make and all done in one bowl!
Ingredients
2 sticks of butter
1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of powder sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 salt
1 cup of chopped pecans
What to do
1) Preheat oven to 375
2) In a large mixing bowl combine butter and sugars
3) Then add your egg and vanilla
4) Add your flour and baking powder then pecans
5) Take a cookie scoop and scoop out on a baking sheet with parchment paper
6) Take a glass and press down on the dough. (Option to wet glass and dip in sugar then press down on dough)
7) Bake for 9 minutes or until edges are golden brown
