 I'm Sarah and I'm from South Carolina. I'm a retired ballet dancer turned barre and yoga instructor.  I'm here to share with y'all my love of southern living- the best way to live. From coastal home décor, old southern recipes, best BBQ spots, to the beautiful scenery. 

 

The name southern flamingo came from my love of the south and my favorite animal the flamingo. I love their bright pink color, their sassy personalities, grace, beauty and balance. The quote I live by is "Be a flamingo in a flock of seagulls." Being bold, confident and not trying to blend in with the world because it's easier.
