2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda together. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. In a small bowl, stir together the pumpkin and the buttermilk and add to the crumb mixture and stir just until moistened.
4. Put dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead 8 to 10 times adding flour here and there if needed. Pat or roll out to 1 inch thickness, cut with a biscuit cutter or a glass. Place biscuits 1 inch apart on a greased baking sheet or with a lined baking sheet.
5. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Melt butter on top and serve warm. Amazing with a drizzle of honey!
