Some things are just southern like, fried chicken, biscuits, grits, sweet tea and pecans! I have to admit I have never had pecan pie, but come this thanksgiving that will change! These candied pecans are quick and easy to make for any occasion!
Ingredients
1 cup of pecans
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of water
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1- 2 tablespoons of butter
Directions
In a sauce pan combine sugar, water, cinnamon, butter. Stir together then wait for mixture to become bubbly.
Add pecans and mix, for about 5 minutes.
Spread pecans on out on parchment paper and allow to cool. Afterwards break apart and serve!
